Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR™) courses equip participants with tools and compassionate self awareness so they can manage issues and emerge from the difficulties of the modern world with dignity, strength and resolve.
Learn how to take better care of yourself through the interplay of mind and body - and mobilise your own inner resources for coping, growing and healing.
Structure and Certification
MBSR™ training takes nine weeks from start to finish and results in certification under the CFM (Centre for Mindfulness) MBSR™ pathway.

MBSR™
AJ Bicât
AJ Bicât is one the world's top corporate MEQ® instructors. He has taught in hundreds of organisations including Penguin, M&C Saatchi, Mind Candy, The Department for Work and Pensions and Cisco.
AJ grew up traveling extensively and studying tribal and religious philosophy in Nepal, Tibet, Australia, Russia and North America. He then built a 20-year career in education, film & TV working for Buena Vista International, BBC TV, Paramount and Channel 4 as an actor, producer, director and writer.
On returning to live in the UK he became a Qualified MBSR™ Facilitator under the tutelage of Jon Kabat-Zinn's University of Massachusetts Oasis Centre for Mindfulness. AJ Bicât is a registered MBSR UK teacher who meets the Mindfulness Network good practice guidelines.
Orientation Class
If you are able to make the time commitment detailed above and can afford the fee but ultimately you are undecided please feel free to attend the Orientation Session where you will discover:
- the history of mindfulness
- how to practice awareness of breath
- what kind of format the classes will take
- the time commitment you will make
- the parameters under which we will all learn together
- the risks and benefits of the course
The Orientation Class will end with a Q&A and brief individual interview.
Attendance at the Orientation Class does not constitute a commitment to pay or take part in the rest of the course but you should be aware of the time commitment and be able to pay the fee before the first class.
